Just built my Core i7 system that uses Intel DX58SO and is so fast! I’ve never been a great overclocker, because I’m not so good at overclocking and keep everything stable. However, this card is an overclocking utility that makes it so easy. Please update the BIOS first from Intel site. Also enlarge the photos of this forum … DDR3 memory slots are horizontal and close to the processor. I had never seen before this, all other boards have DIMM slots running vertically. I read a review that the new orientation of the memory can remain fresh as the air flow has improved and trace the path is shorter, making the processor faster. Well all I can say is my new system of rocks.

First of all, their is no IDE or PS / 2 connections, so be prepared for that. After I got everything on my computer put together and ready to go I went to connect my keyboard and it was only USB. So just find a card or make a new keyboard. The price of DDR3 is cheap so its not so much a big deal to invest in a PCI slot and is now with the latest BIOS upgrade compatible with its SLI technology, which is great since I read The description says that his only Crossfire ready. If you want to go with something beyond two-way SLI that you should go with the EVGA model that has more DIMM slots as well. I was going to go with EVGA but my new case and I would not allow the budget for three cards. I like the way the board is with DIMM slots running vertically and it seems that everything is closer to the processor than on other forums I’ve seen. Believe that when everything is moving at light speed is a measure smaller than the difference on a motherboard. Installation is a snap just be sure to take your time and do not rush and do a stupid mistake. I discovered that in my experience, I put on stupid things, instead of something big. Overclocking was a bit ‘more simplified in this forum which is what you should do if you invest in these tables. Overall this card has everything I need with a lot of SATA and USB ports and its super fast with my i7 920 along with my 6 GB of Corsair Dominator DDR3. All I can say is that I can not wait to get my hands on some free time when I overclock. Keep in mind only 64 bit Vista will see anything above about 3 and a half of gigs so if you do not want 64 not only not ready to see what you put into a minor problem is the configuration of the PCI Express slot since I have an 8800 GTS (one of the fatties) and a Creative X-Fi sound card that does not leave room for another 8800 GTS without me having to remove my sound card. Its not that big of a problem because even if I’m going to get a little more recent paper anyways. But if you have a form of fat like me and something in the PCI slot and you want SLI you might experience problems in a way that is worthy of note in my mind. Is this card worth it even if I should say absolutely yes.

According to Intel a stick stuck in fourth cause a performance degradation as well as the memory rather than DDR3 is available in three pack so its not a big deal. Even when it is the first time and I have entered all the BIOS has been approved, but I could not get the thing to open the ROM and it would just sit there with a black screen and then asked me to select the type of CD-ROM 1 or 2. After about three hours so that all of a sudden he worked after I selected 1 started at the end and everything was installed (operating system). The next problem was it would not restart and as soon as my computer goes off and turns on again would be a black screen goes nowhere. Then I remembered to update the BIOS of the dummy and I read all the notes and a lot of problems I had was fixed in BIOS update including my problem to restart. There was also a problem with my kind of boot ROM if not ranked first in priority and that is the problem I had with trying to get to start installing my operating system. Now everything works perfectly and I could not be happier. The reason I put this in my review was not ‘go as smooth as I thought it would and someone else may have problems. If you have problems just drop me a comment and maybe I can help you only by what I had to do.
