I bought this shredder because it was decent reviews, and it was small and white (read: merging with furniture so my wife allowed me to take off in Plain View).
This is a Super Light duty shredder. Does not cut confetti, just turn the paper into long strips. As a result, it is not as safe and take lots of space in the bucket, so you often have to vacuum. But my biggest complaint is, of course, that it broke the first day I had. I’d be more upset, except that I had thrown away the box yet so made it easy to return. So I was very disappointed and can not recommend a product that broke the first day, but Amazon was great about their return policy, as usual.I purchased a Fellowes DM12c as a replacement, which is more expensive and heavier duty. I really like the Fellowes shredder and it was worth the extra money. The way it sounds when the baby is like devouring records the sound of exhaust on a summit or Porsche – very satisfying.

Love the shredder for its expandable arm so I can use it with a trash can – I hate all the shredder bins – as well as the baskets are not – they are plastic buckets – are just a waste of good space, and the package “all is top heavy and always and forever fall and dumping scraps of paper on the floor.
Whatever happened to being able to buy “only the shredder” expandable arm, but without a bucket – the best I’ve ever had were those. The buckets are a waste of space and $ $ $ for my purposes. I am a small individual user, so you do not need huge volume shredder – Once a year I do a lot of stuff so want to shred a basket that will contain “a lot of stuff grinding.
Ditch the Bucket! Or at least offer a grinder w / expandable arm and NO bucket.
